Japan’s favourite for more than 20 years, the Gundam saga has finally made its way in the US. Gundam, a very famous anime series having “mecha” or giant robots as weapons to the continuous never ending war between two opposing factions.

There are so many Gundam action figure available on the market today. There are so many companies including its licensed company Bandai making Gundam action figure for the Gundam fan. Buying Gundam action figure would prove to be a hassle if you would just order right away without knowing any specifications regarding your Gundam action figure purchased. Well of course, you – the buyer must have an idea of what are the things you to consider before buying Gundam action figure.

1. The distributor. Make sure the ones you are buying from are real distributors. Of course you don’t want to be scammed, right? You can check their reliability by looking at the report cards in which the site is a member of. Checking customer reviews would also gives you an idea how serious they are in their business.

2. The series your Gundam action figure belonged. If you are really a diehard fan of Gundam, this wouldn’t be a problem. For some who are not really aware, try looking what year it belonged to. For example, Mobile Suit Gundam was in TV in 1979. Since this is the first Gundam series released, expect the rare Gundam action figure to be pricey as well. If you really want to complete your collection, try looking for the rare ones first since they are very hard to find.

3. The condition. Who wants their Gundam action figure arrive partly damaged? Gundam action figure are usually in the box and intact. Make sure that the ones you are buying from has customer service support. They will be able to know at the problem so you will be able to demand for either a replacement or a refund in case.

Collecting Gundam action figure really seem to be fun. You have a thing at least you are proud of. It creates a community between you and others like you. But it would really give you a headache if you just rush away and buy. So, don’t be hasty!
